CELEBRATE NORDIC NIGHT IN ATLANTA!

An Evening of Swedish Song and Singers. Join Redeemer members and vocal music lovers on August 15 at 6:30 pm at Redeemer to hear two accomplished soloists with the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm as they celebrate Atlanta’s own  Vasa Drängar’s 30th Anniversary as the South’s premier Swedish Men’s Chorus.

Opera stars tenor Niklas Björling Rygert, Europe’s foremost character tenor who has performed over 50 roles in more than 1000 performances, and baritone Marcus Jupither, educated at the Royal College of Music and the Opera School in Stockholm. Marcus made his professional debut in 1995 and has sung numerous roles with opera companies in Sweden, Germany, France, Hungary and throughout Europe. He made his US debut in Sacramento. This program, featuring Swedish, Italian and English music, promises to be the musical event of the decade at Redeemer. Moreover, our own Organ virtuoso, Sarah Hawbecker, will be accompanying our Swedish guests. Tickets are available in Eventbright and at the door. All ticket receipts are allocated to defraying the costs of the performance.
