“Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord”
Ephesians 5:19
Music Surrounds Life at Redeemer
Life at Redeemer is accompanied by music. From Midtown Lutheran Preschool to the Lutheran Community Food Ministry, youth retreats to senior gatherings, and from children to adults of all ages, there’s an avenue to participate in or enjoy the music of Redeemer as we celebrate God.
Redeemer Adult Music and Choirs
Our adult choirs and soloists—vocal, handbell, and brass—lead the congregation in worship every week and present concerts for the community and a wider audience through live streaming.
The all volunteer choirs at Redeemer lead the congregation in worship in ways that touch the heart. We do this through hymns and liturgy and by proclaiming the Gospel message through Psalms, anthems and spiritual songs, which reinforce God’s Word as it is read and preached. Drawing on the rich Lutheran musical heritage and wide variety of other musical traditions, Redeemer’s choirs reflect a diverse and growing congregation at the heart of Midtown Atlanta.
Singing in Adult Choirs is the sense of community that we form as Redeemer Choir members. We provide loving attention to members when they have a special need and we regularly pray for each other at the end of rehearsals. “We join for the music but stay for the friendships.”

Redeemer Youth & Children's Music
In our youth vocal and instrumental choirs, children and youth of all ages develop skills and form community in order to express their faith through music as leaders in service to the church. We encourage everyone to share in the joy and growth that comes from making music together as children and youth as one way to develop their skills and a sense of service.

Redeemer Jazz Trio
The Redeemer Jazz Trio has long been the soundtrack of our 9:45 Sunday Worship Service. This talented Keyboard, Drums, and Woodwinds combo interprets traditional hymns with a jazz arrangement and starts and ends services with a mix of jazz standards and hymns for a unique, energetic worship experience.
This summer, the Jazz Trio leads worship once a month.
While musical gatherings are temporarily suspended by the pandemic, music continues to be part of weekly worship, and plans are underway for safe activity to resume in the fall.
