The LCFM pivoted to distributing a "to go" meal to our neighbors on March 13th. Through July 3rd,, we had served 19,756 bagged lunches to our traditional diners as well as a group of residents of Lutheran Towers each day. That's just the beginning of the story...

The Lutheran Community Food Ministry's summer sock drive is off to a spectacular start with over 400 pairs in just two weeks. 

This is Pastor Ruth Hamilton's last week with us on the Redeemer Staff as Pastor Jenny McLellan returns from maternity leave next week. She is a member of Redeemer so we look forward to future opportunities to learn from her and spend time together.

The Lutheran Community Food Ministry is into its 16th week of serving lunches "to go" due to the Covid-19 outbreak.  As of June 26th, our dedicated LCFM staff and faithful volunteers have served 18, 680 meals! Additionally, the LCFM has continued to supply donated groceries to Lutheran Towers for "Market Day" as well as to students at Georgia Tech via their STAR program for students in need of financial assistance.

Lutheran Church of the Redeemer’s ministries are operating online. Anyone with permission to access the building must first fill out a health questionnaire found on the COVID-19 Protocols page under the Latest menu tab. Our COVID-19 Task Force and Council are closely monitoring the pandemic and making sure that the congregation and staff are safe until we can gather together again. We encourage everyone to follow CDC guidelines for their personal activities and gatherings.
