Don’t get lost in the crowd…
Yes, Redeemer is a large church with several hundred people attending worship services every weekend. But “church” is more than just a worship service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our city to serve together.
In the Old Testament account of creation, we read in Genesis 2:18, “Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone.” In the New Testament, the writer of Hebrews boldly states, “Let us consider how we may spur one another toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching.” (10:24-25)
We need God. We need each other. God designed us to live in community. Redeemer believes that life transformation happens most profoundly in community. When people gather with a shared mission to follow God, love one another and to serve others, the Holy Spirit shows up. People grow and heal and become more like what God created us to be.
You are invited to come share life. We have dozens of Small Groups. Please contact Karen Medford regarding getting involved in one of our diverse Small Groups.
The Redeeming Bloomers Can Use Your Help! Join our volunteer gardeners on first Thursday mornings of the month from 10-11Am as they beautify and care for our grounds. Help to plant, pull weeds, and water. Contact Beverly Alden at email@example.com.
Most second Wednesdays of the month at 6:00pm during the school year (please check the calendar for an accurate schedule).
Mothers are some of the busiest people…juggling family, careers, kids, housework and so much more. Take time each month to fill back up your spiritual cup with this opportunity to gather with other mothers and talk about what it means to be a mom, women of the Bible, or just life in general. Come for faith and fellowship.
To RSVP for childcare or for more information contact Jen Fuchs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
