Something new is taking shape.
A new evening worship service in Midtown | Preview Sundays, Fall 2026
A new Sunday evening worship service is coming to Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, and you’re invited to help shape it. This fall, three preview services offer a first taste: ancient words and new sounds, room for quiet, and a meal at the Lord’s Table every time.
Come curious. Come skeptical. Come as you are. Whether you’ve been part of a church for decades or haven’t walked into one in years, there’s a place for you here. LGBTQ+ people and families are fully welcome.

What to expect
- Lutheran liturgy, the ancient pattern of gathering, Word, meal, and sending.
- Live strings and percussion leading the music.
- Holy Communion at every service.
- A preview, not a finished product. Each service is a chance to try something, notice what moves you, and say so.
Help shape it
