The new Suicide Awareness and Prevention Initiative begins November 10th at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary.

As the holiday season begins, there may be someone in your life who will need you to be there for them at a crucial time. Become ready to be there.

Georgia Tech Chaplain Kat Folk will lay the groundwork for us with her presentation: “Starting the Conversation about Suicide: Stories from a College Chaplain”

The discussion will not be limited to concerns of college students; it will address suicide risk and prevention in all age groups.

This will be the first of a series of events aimed at preventing suicide in our communties.
