For the victims, survivors, loved ones and communities affected by violence. Rid us of the sin that perpetuates hate, discrimination, and violence. Help us to see one another as beloved siblings--children of the same heavenly father. Cleanse us of the idea that seeking more for ourselves or those similar to us means depriving others of their share of your kingdom. Lead us to common ground and to seek mutually beneficial solutions to the problems we allow to fester and divide us.
