This service of the word invites all in need of healing of the body, heart, mind, or spirit. Includes an opportunity for individual anointing for healing.

Maundy Thursday
We begin the services of the Great Three Days of Jesus’ death and resurrection. On this day we remember Christ’s last meal with his disciples and his command to love one another. Both services will include the opportunity for individual absolution and Holy Communion. The evening service concludes with the stripping of the altar.
This year, Bishop Kevin Strickland of the Southeastern Synod, ELCA will preach at both our Maundy Thursday services.

Good Friday
Jesus reveals the power and glory of God even as he is put on trial and sentenced to death.
Prayer Labyrinth available in Sims Atrium 11 AM- 6:45 PM
Noon worship: reflections on each of the Seven Last Words of Christ.
Engage with neighbors in need by walking the Community Stations of the Cross.
Evening worship: our choir guides us through the passion narrative of John as the room gradually darkens.

Holy Saturday
Center your family in faith this Easter season. Our Family Vigil Worship Service moves us from somber Good Friday to the joy of Easter! Also includes a variety of Easter activities and and egg hunt. Note- because this service begins in a different part of our building, only the second half is livestreamed.
Then, at our evening vigil service, the Great Three Days conclude as we gather around fire, word, water, bread and wine.

German Church Atlanta
Redeemer is also host to the German Church Atlanta. The German Church is an ecumenical Christian Church community that shares the German language, music and culture and is open to all who wish to participate.
We heartily invite you to our online worship service in German (with English translation) every Sunday at 11:00 am. Easter Sunday worship is at 1:30 pm.
