The New Member, or “Getting to Know You” classes gather on  a Saturday morning from 8:30AM – 1:00PM. 8:30 – 9:00 is a time to get acquainted with each other and with Redeemer members over a continental breakfast. At 9:00 the class moves into the church for discussions on the basic tenets of Lutheran Theology, the Sacraments and Lutheran Worship. There is also be a short video on Lutheran History, and a tour of the facility. At noon there is a tour of the place of worship with explanations of the carvings and windows. The next day, Sunday, from 9:30 - 10:30 discussion continues about what it means to be Lutheran.  After the 11:00 worship service from 12:30 – 1:30PM a light lunch is served during discussions about Redeemer’s outreach ministries. Please know, there is no pressure to join the church by participating in a weekend “Getting to Know You” class. Directions and Parking

Redeemer is located at 731 Peachtree Street, NE, in Atlanta, GA, between 3rd and 4th Streets, three blocks east of the I-75/I-85 expressway through the center of Atlanta. We are one block north of the Fox Theatre on the opposite side of Peachtree Street.

Free parking is available in our 4th Street parking lot at all times, and on Sunday mornings in the parking deck behind (to the east of) the Bank of America building, a short one-half block walk away. Enter the parking deck on 3rd Street, traveling east from Peachtree Street.

We can also be reached from the MARTA rail system. Take a northbound or southbound train to the N3 station at North Avenue, then exit the station at the north end, turn right on 3rd Street, go one block to Peachtree Street, and you'll see Redeemer on the left.
