Each Fall, Winter, and Spring, Redeemer offers Concert Series that provide unique opportunities to invite friends and family alike to diverse musical experiences and enjoy the wonderful architectural and acoustic space of the Sanctuary and Sims Atrium. Artists from all over the world visit Redeemer to offer these free concerts via Redeemer’s “Friends of Music” program. The Boston-based ensemble consists of Peter H. Bloom, Baroque Flute; Carol Lewis, Viola da Gamba
Olav Chris Henriksen, Baroque Lute and English Guitar. They will present “European Masters in 18th Century England,” a program of music by Handel, Vivaldi, Abel, Fischer, and other composers. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear this music as it would have sounded in its time on period instruments.

Organ Anniversary Concert

Stephen Tharp, hailed as “the organist for the connoisseur” (organ-Journal für die Orgel, Germany), “the thinking person’s performer” (Het Orgel), “every bit the equal of any organist” (The American Organist” magazine) and “the consummate creative artist” (Michael Barone, Pipedreams), is recognized as one of the great concert organists of our age. He has played over 1400 concerts in 50 tours worldwide and has recorded 15 solo organ CDs.

Redeemer Piano Ensemble
This concert showcases eight pianists playing simultaneously on four grand pianos, directed by Mary Brown Hinely. The program features orchestral transcriptions as well as other favorite classics.
