Redeemer Concert Series

Each Fall, Winter, and Spring, Redeemer offers Concert Series that provide unique opportunities to invite friends and family alike to diverse musical experiences and enjoy the wonderful architectural and acoustic space of the Sanctuary and Sims Atrium.  Artists from all over the world visit Redeemer to offer these free concerts via Redeemer’s “Friends of Music” program.  For more information about this program and the Concert Series, please contact Sarah Hawbecker.

Monday, February 27  7:30 PM


The college’s elite chamber choir and chamber orchestra perform on their tour. Wartburg College, located in Waverly, Iowa, is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Friday, March 17  7:30 PM


This favorite annual concert celebrates the life and music of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Sunday, April 23  2:15 PM


This concert showcases eight pianists playing simultaneously on four grand pianos, directed by Mary Brown Hinely. The program features orchestral transcriptions as well as other favorite classics.

The Friends of Music at Redeemer is a Society of supporters of the music at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Atlanta, Georgia. As an organization within the congregation, the Friends, through their financial contributions and gifts of time and talent, support the development of musical programs in the broader life of the church and the community. Donations are accepted at each concert. You can also become a sponsor at any time throughout the year.
