Change is a constant experience in our lives–and sometimes change can be threatening. Especially now.
An ancient poet from the Bible surveyed his world and it truly looked like everything was falling apart. Yet, he was also a person of faith which led him to conclude:
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning.”– Lamentations 3:22
That truly is the gift of faith. To have the assurance of God’s love and grace, no matter what. To have the courage to face any challenge, any change, that might come your way. To know that you are never alone. When you are freed from fear, you are free to boldly serve your neighbor and the world. That is the gift we want to share with you!

Since 1903, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Midtown Atlanta has provided hope and help to the Atlanta community through the Word of God and love of Jesus. From humble beginnings as a mission congregation, to co-authoring “The Ministers’ Manifesto” during the racially-charged late 1950s, to serving over 2 million meals through our Food Ministry, our red doors and Good Shepherd Window continue to welcome ALL who believe in a God who is compassionate, loving, and understanding – sacrificing his son so that we might have hope and life through faith in him.
