Youth & Family ministry at Redeemer exists to help families and the congregation fulfill their baptismal promises and create a missional environment that empowers young people to name the faith they profess, claim their power to make a difference, act in service towards others and celebrate the gifts that God has given them.

Youth & Family ministry at Redeemer exists to help families and the congregation fulfill their baptismal promises and create a missional environment that empowers young people to name the faith they profess, claim their power to make a difference, act in service towards others and celebrate the gifts that God has given them.
We live out this vision through our core values:
- BELIEVE – Our core faith belief in a gracious and loving God who chooses to be with us is our foundational understanding for how we treat each other.
- GROW – Learning about and practicing our faith allows us to passionately embrace our identity as Christians and join with other who seek to bring about the Kingdom of God in every age.
- SERVE – Loving God and loving our neighbors means that we serve others and this service is relational in nature.
- CARE – Safe places that care for the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health of youth are necessary for youth and families to thrive.
- EMBRACE – All young people are welcome and viewed as children of God. Their cultural context is embraced and not feared.
- EQUIP – Equipping parents to pass down faith is necessary if we believe that home is church too.
- CONNECT – Adults who are authentic, available and affirming are invited into the ministry to create an atmosphere of generational connectedness.
Youth and Family Ministry Board
The Youth & Family Ministry Board at Redeemer is focused on visioning. In order to ensure that this ministry is sustainable and focused on the vision set forth, the Youth & Family ministry board will tend the overall movement of this ministry.
We are a caring community of adults who guide the vision of Youth & Family Ministry; create a culture that is missional in nature; provide opportunities for parents to grow in their faith; learn new models for serving the needs of youth & families and support parents as they nurture the faith in their homes.
