 Plug into the Children's Music at Redeemer and experience the power of music and the love and power of God!

JOIN US - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18

We begin with dinner at 5:30 in the Sims Atrium.

Then, go to your locations, meet your conductors, and power up for some learning and fun!

 


 Cherub Choir

age 4 (as of Sept. 1, '10) through 1st grade

Children who turn 4 between September and January may join in January.

Rehearsals - Wednesdays, 6:15-6:45


Redeemer Singers

2nd - 6th grade

Conductor - Ms. Sarah Hawbecker

Location - Room 204

Rehearsals- Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00


Redeemer Ringers

3rd grade and up

Conductor - Ms. Pam Amy-Cupp

Location - Room 203

Rehearsals- Wednesdays, 6:00-6:30, or 7:00-7:30

Children's Music

Musical Opportunities For Children, Youth and Adults
Under the Direction of Sarah Hawbecker

Cherub Choir: Age 4 to 1st grade.
Rehearses Wednesday, 6:15 – 6:45 PM
Sings for the Family Festival services and other special events throughout the year.

Redeemer Singers: 2nd to 6th grade.
Rehearses Wednesday, 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Sings for worship regularly; musical drama presentation in the spring.

Redeemer Ringers:
Handbell choirs for grades 3 and older. Rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings:

Jubilate Choir: an intergenerational choir of adults and youth 7th grade and older. Rehearses 12:30-1:15 on 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Sings a variety of musical styles and leads worship regularly.

Carillon Ringers: Adult handbell choir.
Rehearses Monday 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Both provide anthems, hymns and psalm accompaniments for worship every month. Activities include the Fall Handbell Festival and a Winter retreat. No previous handbell experience is necessary; some music reading ability required.

Instrumentalists
Instrumentalists are used in worship occasionally for anthem accompaniments, prelude music, or in ensembles for festival services. An informal audition is required. If you are interested in performing solo or ensemble literature, or if you would like to form an instrumental group, please contact Sarah Hawbecker.
