I am privileged to serve on the Search Committee for a new Senior Pastor. I will bring to the search a commitment to be faithful to the wants and needs of our congregation. We are a large, growing, and vibrant Church with diverse views relative to our worship style. Our charge as the Search Committee, as I see it, is to seek a Senior Pastor who will be sensitive to that diversity. As a lifelong Lutheran, and a member of several different congregations, I have experienced both traditional and contemporary service styles. While I am personally fulfilled worshipping in a traditional setting I understand many find the same fulfillment in contemporary worship. I believe we must continue to provide that same opportunity for fulfillment as we go forward under the leadership of our new Senior Pastor.
