The Friends of Music at Redeemer
The Friends of Music at Redeemer is a society of supporters of the Redeemer Concert Series. As an organization within the congregation, the Friends, through their financial contributions and gifts of time and talent, support the development of musical program in the broader life of the church and the community. You can become a sponsor at any time throughout the year. Simply send us your name, address, and email, and let us know how you would like to volunteer, or mail your financial contribution with a check made out to “Lutheran Church of the Redeemer,” designate it “Friends of Music,” and mail to the church at 731 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.    Organ Anniversary Concert

  Joby Bell, Organist

Joby Bell, Organ Professor at the Hayes School of Music, Appalachian State University, will help us celebrate the 9th anniversary of the installation of Redeemer’s Lètourneau pipe organ. Dr. Bell’s concertizing throughout the United States has met with high acclaim, while his performances abroad have been enthusiastically received in Paris, Chartres, London, and throughout Scotland, Romania, and Hungary.

Please join us on these Wednesdays for a 25 minute organ recital preceding our midday worship service.

Carol is on the faculty of the Eastman School of Music, and Catherine teaches at St. Olaf College. These sisters will perform together works commissioned for them.
